Al-Salihi: Al-Sadiqoon confirms its support for arming the army with advanced air defense systems.
The representative of the Sadiqoun parliamentary, Rafiq Al-Salihi, discussed today (Tuesday) with the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, ways to enhance the armament capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces.
It is worth noting that the duties of US Ambassador Alina Romanowski officially ended today.
During the meeting, Al-Salihi stressed the need to strengthen the armed forces with the latest advanced weapons, in order to ensure the protection of Iraqi sovereignty from any Zionist aggression.
Al-Salihi explained that his bloc continues to support arming the Iraqi army, especially by providing an advanced air defense system, in addition to enacting laws that contribute to enhancing the army’s capabilities and raising its morale to face challenges.
Al-Salihi stressed that enhancing military capabilities is a national priority to ensure Iraq’s security and stability in the face of potential threats.
