The spokesman for the Sadiqoon, Mohammed Al-Baldawi, Today, (Monday) confirmed that the security and political leaderships and the Popular Mobilization Forces have seriously realized the danger of terrorism, stressing that the experience of 2014 will not be repeated.
Al-Baldawi pointed out that the areas adjacent to the Syrian border are witnessing remarkable security stability, but he called for the need to exercise caution regarding incubators that may pose a future threat.
Al-Baldawi explained that there are terrorist groups still active in geographically complex areas, such as the Hamrin Mountains, and areas with difficult terrain on the banks of rivers and the desert, which are difficult to reach.
Al-Baldawi also expressed his concern about the return of many displaced persons from Al-Hol camp and their integration into society, stressing the need to follow up on this file carefully to ensure that it is not exploited by terrorist groups.
Al-Baldawi stressed the importance of enhancing security and intelligence efforts and intensifying coordination between all concerned parties, to maintain security and stability and prevent any attempts to reproduce previous crises.
