The Cultural Assistant of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq opened the “Sayyid al-Janub” Institute at the headquarters of the 41st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Basra Governorate, coinciding with the anniversary of Victory Day. The opening was attended by Sheikh Muhammad al-Shammari, Director of the Ahl al-Haq Foundation, Office of Cultural Affairs in Najaf al-Ashraf.
The new institute aims to be a scientific beacon that illuminates with the light of the Holy Quran and draws from the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), by offering a series of religious and cultural courses dedicated to enhancing the cultural and religious awareness of the Mujahideen, in addition to confronting what is known as the “soft wars” that target the region.
For his part, the commander of the 41st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Dhafer Al-Ziyadi, confirmed in his speech during the opening ceremony that this project represents a blessed step by the movement to raise the cultural and ideological level of the Popular Mobilization Forces’ fighters.
Al-Ziyadi pointed out that the institute will hold various seminars and courses covering the fields of jurisprudence, Mahdist thought, and general culture, which will contribute to enhancing awareness and building the capabilities of the mujahideen to face challenges.
It is noteworthy that the opening of the institute comes within a series of initiatives implemented by the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, with the aim of spreading religious and cultural values and supporting the mujahideen in various fields.
