The Political Assistant of the Sadiqoon Movement holds its regular meeting in Baghdad to discuss service files and local challenges.

The Political Assistant of the Sadiqoon, headed by Engineer Qasim Al-Daraji, held its regular meeting at the Guest House in the capital, Baghdad, with the participation of a number of prominent leaders in the movement.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Habib Hashim Al-Halawi, head of the Al- Sadiqoon parliamentary bloc, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Kanani, head of the State Building Department, Dr. Abdul-Mahdi Al-Khafaji, head of the political organization, in addition to Mr. Ayar Al-Halfi, head of the Central Election Office, and Mr. Hussein Ali Al-Shihani, head of the political media.
The meeting was opened with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq. The attendees discussed service files in the governorates, focusing on the challenges facing local governments and ways to improve executive performance to meet the needs of citizens.
It was also noted that some executive officials in local governments were absent due to their preoccupation with vital files that required their presence in the governorates, while stressing the importance of continuing direct coordination to ensure follow-up of developments and resolution of obstacles.
This meeting comes within the framework of a series of periodic meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation between local and central authorities, and supporting development efforts to improve the service reality and infrastructure, while those present stressed the importance of joint work to achieve citizens’ aspirations for a decent life and a stable future.
