Sheikh Al-Khazali: Iraq is targeted by a Zionist-American plot, and its strength and steadfastness prevent it from following Trump’s decisions.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, revealed on Saturday the existence of a declared Zionist-American project to redraw the map of the region, indicating that Iraq represents a central target in this project for many reasons related to its geopolitical location and wealth, in addition to its connection to the biblical aspect of the Zionist entity.
Sheikh Al-Khazali explained that Iraq is naturally targeted, but he stressed that the current Iraq is not the Iraq of 2003, but rather has become strong today and highly immune to external conspiracies.
His Eminence pointed out that there is an urgent need to enhance self-confidence among political and media elites, with the realization that Iraq is capable of withstanding and dealing with challenges.
Sheikh Al-Khazali denied allegations that the Iraqi decision was subordinate to the Iranian decision, describing these allegations as deliberate confusion aimed at weakening confidence in the national decision, stressing that Iraq is not a weak country and that it has the ability to confront economic sanctions, indicating the importance of Iraqi oil in achieving global energy balance.
Sheikh Al-Khazali discussed the US policy towards Iraq, criticizing the reliance on the policies of former US President Donald Trump, explaining that “Trump makes unexpected decisions, some of which are based on purely economic calculations, and his priorities do not include Iraq centrally, but rather focus on issues such as China and the Russian-Ukrainian war, in addition to the Iranian nuclear file”.
Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed that Iraq will not be in a weak position even if it is exposed to economic pressures, noting that the country is able to find alternatives within a short period, adding that those who rely on Trump’s decisions or expect a radical change from them will face disappointment, because his policies are often volatile and unpredictable.
Sheikh Al-Khazali renewed his call to Iraqis to think with confidence and strength, stressing that God alone is capable of everything, not the United States or any other power, noting that Iraq is not in the spotlight for Trump and the Democrats because they have other calculations.
