Sheikh Al-Khazali: Resistance is an ideological and humanitarian choice that remains steadfast in the face of challenges.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, confirmed today (Saturday) that the issue of resistance is a fixed belief and principle, and that the Shiites in the region have adopted it as a strategic choice.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said during a televised interview that the resistance has a great advantage, which is the ability to adapt to circumstances and developments that may occur at any time.
His Eminence added that the fundamental issues of the Islamic nation, such as the issue of Gaza, Palestine and Jerusalem, are purely Islamic issues, and that the attempts of some agendas to promote the idea of ​​sectarian division (Sunni-Shiite) aim to create a rift among Muslims over these fixed issues.
Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed that Gaza and Palestine are Arab and Islamic issues, as well as Iraq, which shares real commonalities in this issue.
His Eminence pointed out that the humanitarian tragedy witnessed by the Palestinian people in Gaza, including the killing of children and women, has stirred the conscience of humanity everywhere, including in the United States and Europe, which makes it natural for the Iraqi people to feel a duty to support it.
His Eminence explained that “the conscience of the Arab people in general was shaken by what is happening in Gaza, but the ruling class is the one distancing itself”.
His Eminence also stressed that the choice to support the resistance and aid Gaza is not merely an emotional reaction or impulse, but rather a consciously made religious, legitimate and humanitarian choice, pointing out that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had expected martyrdom and was prepared to sacrifice his blood in this path.
His Eminence added, “There is nothing surprising. These are war losses, but the axis of resistance is able to adapt to circumstances, overcome challenges, and transform threats into opportunities”.
His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed that the axis of resistance will remain steadfast in confronting all challenges, adhering to its strategic options in order to support the issues of the Islamic nation, foremost among which is Palestine.
