Al-Halawi confirms the commitment of the honest people towards the blood of the martyrs and the rights of the victims by not including terrorists in the general amnesty law.

Head of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Dr. Habib Al-Halawi, affirmed today (Tuesday), Al-Sadiqoon permanent commitment to supporting legislation that serves the interests of Iraq and its people, enhances justice, and protects society from any threat to its security and stability.
Al-Halawi said in a statement issued by his media office that the Iraqi Parliament voted today on the proposals for the Personal Status Law and the General Amnesty Law, noting that the bloc, by voting, committed to the position that expresses the aspirations and rights of the Iraqi people.
Al-Halawi confirmed, saying: “Abbas is between us, and no terrorist will be released from prison”.
He added that the bloc’s position and vote were a reflection of its promise to the Iraqi people not to allow the exit of those whose hands were stained with the blood of innocents, stressing that the bloc would not hesitate to confront any attempts that threaten Iraq’s security and stability.
Al-Halawi reiterated the role of the Sadiqoon as an honest and loyal voice defending the rights of the Iraqi people, stressing that true justice is the basis for building a secure and stable Iraq.
He continued, saying: We ask God to protect Iraq and its people, and to help everyone serve this dear country.
