Al-Hamdani reveals parliamentary movement to decide on the service and retirement law for members of the Popular Mobilization Authority.
Member of the Al-Sadiqoon parliamentary, Thamer Dhiban Al-Hamdani, revealed today (Wednesday) the date of the vote on the service and retirement law for members of the Popular Mobilization Authority.
Al-Hamdani said, “There is a parliamentary move to vote on the Popular Mobilization Law, indicating that the Popular Mobilization Law guarantees all the entitlements of members, similar to their counterparts in the Ministries of Interior and Defense”.
He added, “The upcoming sessions will witness the passing of the vote on the service and retirement law for the Mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization Authority,” noting that “the Popular Mobilization Authority is a security institution linked to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces”.
Al-Hamdani pointed out that “the law guarantees retirement salaries, promotions, and the rights of the wounded,” stressing that “the law will be included in the agenda of the House of Representatives during the upcoming sessions”.
