Al-Halawi confirms that the elections will be held on the scheduled date and stresses preventing those who steal public funds from running for office.

Head of the Sadiqoon parliamentary , Habib al-Halawi, confirmed today, (Saturday) that the date for the upcoming parliamentary elections is fixed and will not be changed, stressing that thieves of public funds will not be allowed to run for office, participate in politics, or hold any position in the Iraqi state.
Al-Halawi said during his hosting in the Sadiqoon space on the “X” platform, that the Sadiqoon adopted the adoption of the unified card in the voter voting process, stressing that this procedure aims to enhance transparency and integrity of the electoral process.
Al-Halawi added that the Sadiqoon bloc will participate in the upcoming elections with a separate list, with the possibility of some other blocs entering into an alliance with it to form what he called the ” Sadiqoon Coalition,” stressing that the bloc is working to enhance citizens’ participation in the electoral process and ensure their fair representation.
Al-Halawi concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of fighting corruption and protecting public funds, noting that preventing those involved in stealing public funds from running for office is an essential step to ensure the integrity of the political process and build a just and stable state.
