The head of the Parliamentary Communications Committee for the Sadiqoon, Zahra Al-Bajari, announced today (Sunday) the completion of all procedures related to the interrogation of the Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, stressing that the files related to the interrogation are ready.
Al-Bujari explained in a press statement that the committee is about to set an official date to question the minister under the dome of parliament, as part of following up on the ministry’s performance and ensuring that its obligations are being implemented in accordance with applicable laws and legislation.
This interpellation comes as part of the efforts of the House of Representatives to exercise its oversight role over government institutions and follow up on files related to the communications sector in the country.
