The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, confirmed that there is a great exaggeration in portraying former US President Donald Trump as a decisive factor in Iraqi affairs, pointing out that most politicians in Iraq have a “bogeyman” named Trump, and they promote the idea that he does not accept the resistance factions and seeks to integrate the Popular Mobilization Forces.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in his speech during his attendance at the second conference of the Sadiqoon students held in the holy city of Karbala, that some politicians are promoting the idea that Trump wants three trillion dollars, considering it the total amount spent by the United States to overthrow the previous regime, while in reality, Trump is only influential to those who believe in him and fear him, and as for the Iraqi resistance, he is just a repeated and worn-out experience.
Sheikh Khazali added that Trump ruled the United States for four years, and when he tried to implement his projects in Iraq, he only achieved failure, saying: “He had enough of these things,” while pointing out that Trump was forced to visit Iraq at night using an armored plane without windows, despite his claim that his country had spent two trillion dollars in Iraq.
His Eminence wondered why some people fear Trump, citing the experience of Hamas, that simple formation that imposed its word on the Zionist entity, while we see some heads of state and kings lose their morale and their positions become confused as soon as they threaten him or sit with him.
