Sheikh Al-Khazali: We pledge to our people to build Iraq and confront all hostile plans.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, confirmed that the enemy tried to destabilize the internal situation by targeting and burning the movement’s headquarters, but the movement was able to thwart this plan and preserve the unity of the national ranks.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in his speech during his attendance at the second conference of the Sadiqoon students held in the holy city of Karbala, that the movement offered precious and valuable blood, including the martyr Abu Jaafar Al-Aliawi, who embodied, through his sacrifices, a firm national stance in the face of the plans that aimed to ignite sedition in Iraq.
Sheikh Al-Khazali added: “We were clearly wronged, but we were the main reason for extinguishing the sedition and thwarting the dangerous project that one of the three presidencies and one of the most important leaders of the security services were part of,” stressing that the movement had a pivotal role in confronting this plan that produced the previous government.
Regarding the fight against terrorism, His Eminence stressed that Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq was one of the most successful groups that confronted the terrorist organization ISIS, and contributed significantly to thwarting its destructive project.
His Eminence also pointed out that Iraq later witnessed the formation of a national government represented by Al itar Altansiqi Government headed by Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, stressing that it cannot be compared to the previous government, given its commitment to the national approach and achieving the interests of the people.
His Eminence explained that the movement was and still is a safety valve and a path to correct the political situation, especially during the period extending between 2018 and 2022, pledging to continue this national role with all strength.
Sheikh Al-Khazali concluded by renewing his pledge to the Iraqi people, saying: “We pledge to you to correct the course of political action, build Iraq correctly, and make the state-building experience a success, just as we succeeded in resisting the occupation, confronting the shrine of Al-Aqila, and confronting ISIS. We remain committed to achieving the state project and building it in a way that serves all Iraqis”.
