The Ahl al-Haq Islamic Foundation, affiliated with the Cultural Assistant of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, opened the “Sayyid al-Janub” Islamic Institute in Basra Governorate, as part of its efforts to raise the cultural and intellectual level of the Mujahideen and in implementation of the directives of His Eminence the General Secretary Sheikh Qais Khazali, which emphasize the necessity of paying attention to this file.
A statement issued by the institution stated that the institute began organizing intensive cultural courses targeting members of the 41st Brigade in the Popular Mobilization Forces. The courses extended over a whole month, at a rate of one course per week, and witnessed wide participation from the Mujahideen.
These courses aim to fortify cultural and ideological thought and enhance awareness to confront the toxic ideas that the enemy is trying to spread in society.
For their part, the participants expressed their gratitude to the 41st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Cultural Assistant for their efforts in holding these programs, stressing their importance in developing their intellectual and ideological capabilities, and their positive impact in supporting their jihadist performance in various fields.
