Sheikh Khazali calls for urgent international action to stop violations against Alawites in Syria.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, expressed his deep concern today (Saturday) over the escalation of violence in Syria, especially in areas controlled by armed groups known for their terrorist history, which are currently operating under the cover of the security forces.
His Eminence Sheikh Khazali stressed in a post on the Aks platform that “the executions targeting members of the Alawite sect cause deep fear and require immediate action to protect them,” noting that “the silence of the international community regarding these massacres is unacceptable, which requires the active and inactive countries in the Syrian arena to assume their responsibilities and intervene urgently to stop these violations and protect Alawite civilians”.
His Eminence also stressed the need to stop the violence in Syria and work towards a comprehensive political solution that guarantees the rights of all Syrians without discrimination, considering that “a just political solution is the only way to end the crisis and ensure security and stability in Syria and the region”.
