Sheikh Khazali discussed with Maliki unifying efforts to confront challenges and ensure the integrity of the upcoming elections.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, called on the Iraqi government to take urgent and just measures to provide justice for the Fayli Kurds, on the anniversary of the genocide they suffered at the hands of the former Saddam regime.
Sheikh Al-Khazaali said in a post on the “X” platform: “On the anniversary of the genocide of the Faylee Kurds, we recall the heinous crimes committed by the Saddam regime, including forced displacement, arrests, executions, and confiscation of property, simply because they were followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
His Eminence urged the government to compensate the victims and their families financially and morally, return stolen property to its owners, and restore Iraqi citizenship to those forcibly displaced.
His Eminence also stressed the importance of including the history of the Faylee Kurd genocide in school curricula to educate future generations about the injustice that this important segment of society suffered at the hands of the fallen regime.
