Sheikh Al-Khazali discusses with Mr. Al-Hakim the latest political and security developments and the preparation of a fair environment for the elections.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad today (Friday) the head of the National Wisdom Trend, His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
A statement from Sheikh Al-Khazali’s media office stated that congratulations and blessings were exchanged during the meeting, asking God to return it to the Iraqi people and the Islamic nation with security and stability.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments on the political and security fronts, and stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination between national forces to contribute to preserving the country’s stability and strengthening the democratic process.
The meeting also addressed the issue of elections, emphasizing the need to create a conducive environment to ensure their integrity and transparency, reflecting the will of the Iraqi people and strengthening their confidence in the political process.
