Al-Salihi reiterates the Sadiqoon movement’s position rejecting the presence of foreign forces in Iraq.

Rafiq al-Salihi of the Sadiqoon expressed his rejection of foreign forces remaining in Iraq on Tuesday, stressing that the withdrawal of foreign forces, led by the Americans, is irreversible.
Al-Salihi said in a press interview, “Most political forces are sticking to their firm position, which is to expel all foreign forces from Iraq”.
He added, “For us, this is a priority because our security depends on the withdrawal of foreign forces,” stressing “the need for all countries to withdraw their foreign forces from Iraqi territory in compliance with the parliament’s decision”.
He continued, “Iraq’s security situation is stable and much better than in previous years. The withdrawal of foreign forces after they are no longer needed is a necessity and a national choice”.
