The Sadiqoon commemorates the anniversary of the Al-Sina’a Stadium bombing and affirms its adherence to the martyrs’ path.

The Sadiqoon parliamentary commemorated the anniversary of the terrorist bombing of the Al-Sina’a Stadium, which targeted an electoral rally for the Sadiqoun movement on April 25, 2014, and resulted in the martyrdom of a number of the movement’s supporters.
In an official statement, the Sadiqoon said, “The hands of treachery and terrorism attempted to silence the voice of resistance and the authentic national project through a heinous crime committed atAl-Sina’a Stadium in Baghdad,” stressing that “the pure blood of the martyrs was the beginning of a blessed launch in parliamentary and political work”.
The statement added: “Today, we remember with reverence and pride the souls of our righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Iraq and in defense of the principles of resistance and sovereignty,” noting that “that moment was a turning point in the path of defiance and steadfastness, and wrote the first lines of glory in the record of sacrifices of the sons of the Sadiqoon “.
The Sadiqoon renewed its commitment to the path of the martyrs, stressing that their blood “will not be in vain” and that it represents “a lasting pledge to continue on the path of resistance, serve the people, and defend the sovereignty and dignity of the homeland.” It emphasized that “the attempts of Iraq’s enemies were broken by the will and steadfastness of the Sadiqoon, so that the response will be a solid national parliamentary project”.
The bloc concluded its statement by offering condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying for mercy and eternal life for their pure souls, and victory and steadfastness for the mujahideen who follow in their footsteps. It continued by saying: Shame and disgrace to the criminal killers and their supporters.
