Mr. Al-Tabatabai: The martyred Sayyid Muhammad Sadiq Al-Sadr (may God sanctify his soul) carried a national project and uplifted society with his thought and humility.

The Deputy of General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad al-Tabatabai, affirmed that the martyred Sayyid Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr (may his holy secret be sanctified) carried a national project and revived society with his renewed thought and great humility.
This came during a speech delivered by Al-Tabatabai at a dialogue seminar organized by the Central Political Forum of the Sadiqoon, on Saturday, to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed al-Sadr (may his secret be sanctified) and the founding of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq.
Mr. Tabatabai explained that the late Sayyid al-Sadr affirmed his support for the religious authority because he found the religious arena empty at that time, noting that “there were 17 seminaries that were empty in 1993, and after the late Sayyid al-Sadr’s support for the religious authority, these schools were filled with students”.
He added, “The martyred Sayyid al-Sadr deliberately used a simplified style in presenting his practical message to be close to the people,” noting that “his speech was not limited to Shiites alone, but encompassed all components and sects of society”.
He continued, “The popularity of the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr increased year after year, while his scholarly work gradually began to emerge on the religious scene,” emphasizing that “his message was not limited to Iraq, but extended to Lebanon, Palestine, and other countries”.
Mr. Tabatabai pointed out that “the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr followed a clear sequence to meet the needs of society and the religious arena, and this was evident in the Friday prayer sermons he delivered”.
