The political assistant of the Sadiqoon, Engineer Qasim al-Daraji, confirmed today, Saturday, that the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq has adopted “confrontation” as its slogan since its founding, emphasizing that it is closest to the line and orientations of the martyred Sayyid Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr (may his secret be sanctified) and is fully in line with them.
During his speech at the dialogue seminar organized by the Central Political Forum of the Sadiqun Movement, on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid al-Sadr and the founding of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, al-Daraji said, “The primary goal of the men of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq is to serve the Imam, the Master of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance)”.
He added that “the movement represents a true extension of the approach and thought of the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr,” noting that “the idea of empowerment was strongly present in the thought of the martyred Sadr”.
Al-Daraji explained that “the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr addressed all segments of the Iraqi people in his Friday sermons, calling for national unity,” noting that “the formation of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq stemmed from the culture of the two martyred Sadrists and was founded on the principle of defending others”.
Al-Daraji emphasized that “the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr constituted a comprehensive revolution in all its dimensions, and that those who lived with him realized the extent of his influence on society.” He explained that “he was distinguished by his dissemination of knowledge, even under the Ba’athist Saddam regime, through his presence in state institutions”.
