Al-Baldawi on the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq: We will remain guardians of the faith and custodians of blood.

The official spokesman for the Sadiqoon parliamentary, Mohammed Karim al-Baldawi, issued a statement on Sunday marking the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq. He affirmed the movement’s continued jihadist and political efforts and its unwavering commitment to defending national sovereignty and ideological principles.
Al-Baldawi said in his statement, “On the twenty-second anniversary of the life of jihad and giving, we proudly recall the blessed journey that was written by men who believed in their Lord and their country, choosing the path of resistance as a path to dignity, a beacon of sovereignty, and a sacrifice for the holy sites”.
Al-Baldawi extended his congratulations to the mujahid movement, its General Secretary, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali (may his success be eternal), its cadres and mujahideen, the families of the martyrs and wounded, and our loyal people. He pointed out that “the Islamic Resistance, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, was born from the womb of suffering, was nurtured in the trenches of confrontation, and has steadfastly marched on the path of liberation”.
He added, “During this journey, we have faced enormous challenges, stood up to the most powerful armies, thwarted terrorist and takfiri plots, and made great sacrifices so that Iraq would remain free and proud”.
Al-Baldawi pointed out that the movement continues its national role today in the political arena, as it did in the battlefields, adding: “We affirm that our position will remain where national and religious responsibility requires it… in the trenches if duty requires it, or in the seats where decisions are made”.
Al-Baldawi concluded his statement by emphasizing the steadfastness of his position, saying, “We renew our pledge to God and to our proud people to remain guardians of the faith, faithful to the shedding of blood, present in every arena that requires a position, not deviating from the truth, nor compromising on our constants”.
