Diyala Governorate, whose people have written epics of heroism and sacrifice, witnessed the handover ceremony of a group of residential homes to the families of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq martyrs. The ceremony was attended by the movement’s Deputy Secretary-General, His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad al-Tabatabai. This step reflects loyalty to the sacrifices of those who rose in defense of Iraq and its sovereignty.
During his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Tabatabai emphasized that this blessed initiative is not merely a housing project, but rather a concrete embodiment of the resistance’s promise not to abandon the children of martyrs and not to forget their contributions. He emphasized that giving to the families of martyrs is a national, moral, and humanitarian duty that cannot be neglected.
His Eminence said: “The martyrs of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq are men who were true to their pledge to God. They took up arms against terrorism and stood steadfast on the nation’s borders, seeking nothing for themselves. Rather, they only wanted Iraq to remain honorable, free and proud. They drew with their pure blood the lines of honor between life and death, and between humiliation and dignity”.
His Eminence pointed out that the families’ patience and steadfastness are an extension of their sons’ heroism, and that the support provided by the movement does not rise to the level of the sacrifices, but it is the beginning of an ongoing process of care and attention.
This initiative is part of a series of projects undertaken by the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq across various governorates, in recognition of those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of dignity and as an embodiment of the values instilled in the hearts of the mujahideen and the nation’s sons and daughters by the martyrs.
