Al-Bujari: The Arab Summit in Baghdad is a pivotal moment for rebuilding the common Arab position.
Zahra Al-Bajari, head of the parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee for the Sadiqoon, stressed on Wednesday that the Arab summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad is not an ordinary event, but rather represents a pivotal moment in rebuilding a common Arab position.
Al-Bujari said in a post on the “X” platform, “Iraq opens its doors and heart to all Arab brothers, to affirm that Arab destiny is only made by the Arabs themselves,” stressing that the crises the region is experiencing require a courageous stance from everyone.
She added, “Iraq’s role at this stage will not be marginal, but rather pivotal, as we have always known it to be,” expressing her hope that “this summit will be a true beginning to restoring people’s confidence in their leaders”.
