Al-Salihi: The Arab Summit in Baghdad is an opportunity for a new beginning and a different path.
Rafiq al-Salihi of the Sadiqoon affirmed on Wednesday that the Arab Summit being held in Baghdad comes amidst major challenges facing the region, but at the same time, it expresses the aspirations of the Arab masses for a unified stance.
Al-Salihi said in a post on the “X” platform, “Iraq, with its cultural depth and historical standing, extends its hand to its brothers in order to forge a unified position that strengthens Arab solidarity and confronts common challenges”.
He added, “The crises our region is experiencing are not inevitable, but rather a responsibility that falls on everyone,” emphasizing that the current situation requires “bold decisions that preserve Arab unity”.
Al-Salhi expressed his hope that this summit would be “the beginning of a new path that lays the true foundations for joint Arab cooperation”.
