Al-Daraji: Sheikh Khazali’s speech revealed the dimensions of the region’s crisis, and there is a need to correct the paths to resolve the differences.

The political aide of the Sadiqoon, Engineer Qasim al-Daraji, stated on Monday that His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali’s speech included multiple dimensions to several issues, including the ongoing crisis in the Kurdistan Region. He pointed to the importance of correcting the paths as a gateway to resolving the crises and outstanding disputes between Baghdad and Erbil.
Al-Daraji said in a press statement that “His Eminence Sheikh Khazali’s raising of the issue of the region’s salaries came as a result of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s failure to keep pace with the current situation,” noting that “this proposal reflects the need for a clear and courageous stance on dealing with this vital issue”.
Al-Daraji stressed that “the parliamentary majority is currently moving toward resolving crises and disputes with the region through dialogue and prioritizing the national interest,” noting that “this requires a genuine commitment from all parties and a sincere desire to correct the course”.
