Al-Baldawi recalls the steadfastness of the people of his country and affirms the commitment to preserving the trust and building a sovereign state … on the anniversary of the fight against ISIS.

Representative Mohammed al-Baldawi, spokesman for the Sadiqoon, affirmed on Tuesday that June 10th represents an immortal national milestone that embodies the highest values ​​of heroism and sacrifice, commemorating the steadfastness of the people of Balad district in the face of the terrorist ISIS gangs.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement, “This day is one of the brightest pages of honor in Iraq’s history, as the people of Balad District responded to the blessed call of the wise religious authority and stood with rare courage in the face of the barbaric ISIS attack, setting an example of steadfastness and pride”.
Al-Baldawi pointed out that “the heroic resistance and great sacrifices offered by the people of the country were clear evidence that the Iraqis, whenever the religious authority called upon them, were a strong fortress, possessing the faith and weapons, and an impregnable barrier against terrorism”.
Al-Baldawi added, “Today marks the eleventh anniversary of our country’s steadfastness, and we are even more proud and determined to honor that precious blood and preserve the legacy left behind by the martyrs, in order to build a state of justice and sovereignty, a state of citizens, a state in which there is no place for terrorism or corruption”.
Al-Baldawi concluded his statement by paying tribute to the resistance fighters, the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the righteous martyrs, the heroic wounded, and everyone who contributed to eliminating terrorism from the pure land of Iraq.
