Al-Baldawi: Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq is at the forefront of defending the homeland and religion and rejects the Zionist aggression against Iran.

Representative Mohammed al-Baldawi, spokesman for the Sadiqoon parliamentary, confirmed on Monday that the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq was among the first to stand up to defend the homeland and religion. He emphasized that the protest rally organized by the movement expresses the Iraqi people’s rejection of the Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al-Baldawi said in a press interview that “the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq was among the first to stand up in defense of the homeland and religion,” noting that “the Zionist aggression against Iran targets the countries of the region and the entire axis of resistance.” He added that “this aggression necessitates the expulsion of foreign forces from Iraq in light of the brutal attacks witnessed in the region.
Al-Baldawi explained that “the Islamic Republic has stood with all countries in defense of their sovereignty against global arrogance, and we must now return the favor.” He noted that meetings are underway with officials and security leaders to find solutions to the restrictions imposed by the United States on Iraq.
He stressed the “need to take action to support the Iraqi government in arming the army and security forces with advanced defensive weapons,” emphasizing the need to “take Arab, regional, and international measures against the Zionist entity’s attacks and violations in the region.
He pointed out that “the American presence in Iraq aims to protect the criminal Zionist entity, not to defend Iraq,” adding that “the security agreements between Iraq and America are merely ink on paper, and not a single clause of them has been implemented yet.
