The military spokesman for the of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Jawad al-Talibawi, today (Monday) called on the government to reconsider the decision to block the “Telegram” application, and while considering the decision a violation of freedom of opinion and expression, he considered that it represents a real outlet for the men of the resistance. Al-Talibawi said, in a post on the “X” website, that “in light of the aggressive media war waged by the enemies of the Islamic resistance against the truth and the truth on social media for many years, our men and youth found a real and effective outlet through the Telegram application, through which they transmitted the events and truthful facts and crossed for their bravery. Al-Talibawi added, “We were surprised by the issue of banning this application in Iraq, in an incomprehensible measure in which the most important gains that were achieved after getting rid of the dictatorship, which is the freedom of opinion and expression guaranteed by the constitution, were overlooked. He also called on the government to “reconsider this measure, which harmed one of the rights of the Iraqis, and we call on them to address violations of the security of the citizen and the state in correct and studied ways and methods, away from banning the application and closing the platforms that had a prominent role in defending the homeland and sanctities.
