The spokesman for the Al-Sadiqoon, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, on Wednesday denounced the treacherous American aggression that targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Jurf Al-Nasr and Al-Qaim, resulting in one martyr and a number of wounded, while calling for urgent governmental and political action to deter these violations and end the foreign presence in the country.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement, “The government and the political and national forces are required to take immediate, serious action to remove the American occupation forces, after they demonstrated their lack of respect for Iraq and its institutions, stressing the need to put an end to their continued violations of Iraqi sovereignty”.
Al-Baldawi considered, “Implementing Parliament’s decision to remove American forces from the country will prove to everyone that preserving the state’s prestige, the country’s security, its sovereignty, and the lives of its citizens is a red line and above all considerations”.
He added, while we affirm that statements and denunciations are no longer useful in light of the repeated American crimes and violations, we call on the government and national political forces to take decisive steps to end the presence of the so-called (international coalition) in Iraq, and to quickly remove all occupying foreign forces. Maximum, and cutting off the pretexts that the Americans use to prolong their presence on the land and in the skies of Iraq.
Al-Baldawi also stressed the need to take legal measures against the occupation forces in response to their crimes and violations of national sovereignty.
