The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon and member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, stressed on Wednesday the necessity of providing political and popular support to the government to support its directions to expel the occupier, indicating that any American stubbornness will be met with an escalation by the resistance factions.
Al-Moussawi said during a televised interview that Iraq does not need a “political initiative” with America, but rather the activation of security agreements, in light of the American side continuing to violate the “agreements” and assaulting sovereignty.
Al-Musawi stated that the government needs political and popular support to remove the occupier, since Iraq does not need any foreign forces or “advisers,” but America is trying to “weaken the government” and create chaos.
He explained that the Iraqi resistance has supported the government from the moment it was launched, and that every American stubbornness will be met with an escalation of resistance.
