Al-Salhiy: The fatwa of sufficient jihad restored Iraq’s existence and prestige.
The representative of the Al-Sadiqoon, Rafiq Al-Salhiy, confirmed today (Wednesday) that the fatwa on sufficient jihad issued by the supreme authority, Sayyed Al-Sistani, restored Iraq’s existence and prestige.
Al-Salhiy said in a press interview, “The fatwa of sufficient jihad is what changed the features of the conflict in Iraq and the region and turned defeat into steadfastness and then into victories and liberating the land from ISIS”.
He added, “That fatwa represented a real turning point in the face of terrorism,” noting that “the Iraqi people responded to the fatwa of the authority in forming the Popular Mobilization Forces to confront ISIS and terrorist groups”.
He continued, “The popular mobilization proved that it is an invincible force and, in cooperation with the rest of the security forces, removed the conspiracy from Iraq and its people.
