The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, visited on Thursday the family of the martyr, Commander Salem Hashem al-Ghanami, in conjunction with the anniversary of his martyrdom defending the shrine of Aqila Zeinab (peace be upon her), within the framework of His Eminence’s keenness to communicate with the families of the martyrs, inspect their conditions and care for them.
A statement from the media office of Sheikh Khazali stated that His Eminence stressed during the visit that steadfastness in insight and positions is an honor that only the sincere can attain, and the martyr Salem Al-Ghanami was one of those who were characterized by unique courage and unparalleled valor in defending the holy sites and protecting the sanctuary of Al-Aqila (peace be upon her). The rest of his siblings, who were honored to bear her name, are “Zeinab’s brothers”.
Sheikh Khazali also expressed pride in the role of the martyrs who passed away, while their history remains immortal, illuminating the path of the free people who defended the religion and the homeland.
