The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, confirmed today (Monday( that the “Tufan Al-Aqsa” operation is the most prominent and influential event of the past year, describing it as a real test of the human conscience.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said, during a televised speech on the occasion of the first anniversary of Operation “Tufan Al-Aqsa,” that the operation conveyed scenes of destruction and killing in sound and image, making it a turning point in the ongoing conflict.
Regarding the timing of the operation, Sheikh Al-Khazali explained that raising the question about the appropriateness of the timing ignores the daily killing of thousands of civilians, especially children and women, in Gaza and Lebanon, adding that this destruction may extend to include other countries in the region such as Iraq and Yemen, and even the Islamic Republic, because what is happening is an open war of a religious and ideological nature.
His Eminence spoke about the foundation upon which the Zionist entity is based, stressing that it is not a political or economic entity, but rather relies entirely on religious beliefs and biblical and evangelical prophecies. He pointed out that the Zionist entity was founded on gathering the diaspora from various countries of the world with the aim of establishing “Greater Israel” in the heart of the Middle East.
His Eminence added that the current rulers of this entity belong to the extreme right and are ideological, seeking to fulfill purely religious prophecies, and they consider that their goal is to achieve what they call the “appearance of the promised savior” or “the Messiah”.
His Eminence stressed that Operation “Tufan Al-Aqsa exposed the falsity of Western claims about democracy and human rights, which are adopted by the United States and European countries. He pointed out that these countries directly supported the war machine that killed more than 17 thousand Palestinian children.
His Eminence also criticized the biased Western coverage that focused on allegations of the killing of one child without providing any evidence, while ignoring thousands of civilian victims.
In a related context, His Eminence expressed his regret for the Arab rulers’ inaction and silence in the face of these crimes, describing their silence as “the silence of the graves,” noting that the Arab peoples are also unable to take a supportive stance, despite witnessing what is happening to the Islamic sanctities and Al Quds Holy City.
His Eminence highlighted the points revealed by Operation “Tufan Al-Aqsa”, stressing that the Zionist entity, which was believed to have an invincible army, is in fact “weaker than a spider’s web”, indicating that the operation showed that the brave resistance fighters, despite their small number, were able to humiliate the Israeli army and break its prestige.
His Eminence considered that the current conflict is a religious ideological conflict, and that those who rule the Israeli entity today are people who seek to achieve their religious goals at any cost, including eliminating the inhabitants of the region. This series of killing and destruction is inevitable in their view, explaining that they believe that three-quarters of the population of the region will be destroyed in a religious war.
Sheikh Al-Khazali continued his speech by emphasizing that the resistance does not depend only on numbers and equipment, but on faith in God and a firm belief, stressing that victory or martyrdom are the two options available to the resistance, and that the recent battles have proven that the strongest belief is the one that wins in the end, adding that military technology cannot defeat faith.
His Eminence concluded by saying: You killed our leaders, and our leaders would have been satisfied with martyrdom, and we will continue on their path. It is possible that we will be martyred, and our brothers will continue on our path, and this is right. He considered that the responsibility is greater now when we look at our martyrs who were martyred before us, and they are looking at us, what should we do? He stressed that with our determination and resistance, God willing, we will bring them joy.
