The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, received in his office today (Monday) the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, as part of his visit to the capital, Baghdad.
A statement from Sheikh Al-Khazali’s media office stated that during the meeting, the most prominent security and political developments witnessed by the country were discussed, in addition to external challenges and their impact on the general situation in Iraq.
The two sides also exchanged views on the current situation, stressing the importance of enhancing political cooperation between the various parties in a way that contributes to achieving stability and progress at all national levels.
