Saad al-Saadi, a member of the political bureau of the Sadiqoon, stressed on Saturday the importance of the national positions adopted by the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, noting that exposing the killers of the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr and his sister is not the first of its kind, but rather part of a series of efforts that demonstrate the movement’s commitment to holding criminals accountable and providing justice to victims.
Al-Saadi said that the issue of searching for the killers of the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr and his sister has been given important attention by His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, which reflects the movement’s keenness to achieve justice and hold accountable all those involved in crimes against the Iraqi people.
Al-Saadi also praised the arrest of the killers of the martyred Sayyid al-Sadr and his sister, describing it as an honorable position recorded for His Eminence Sheikh al-Khazali and the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, stressing that such steps enhance confidence between the Iraqi people and the national forces working to achieve justice.
In a related context, Al-Saadi revealed that the criminal Saadoun Sabri, one of the elements of the defunct Saddam regime, possesses important information about the execution of the Al-Hakim family and Al-Alawiya Bint Al-Huda, in addition to his knowledge of their burial place. Al-Saadi called for the necessity of interrogating him and revealing all the information he possesses to provide justice to the families of the victims and achieve justice.
Al-Saadi stressed that the Baathist Saddam regime committed many crimes against the Iraqi people, pointing out that these crimes do not expire with the passage of time, and that everyone involved in them must be held accountable, demanding that the henchmen of the fallen Saddam regime be brought to justice, and that firm legal measures be taken against them for the crimes they committed against the Iraqi people.
