Al-Moussawi calls on the Parliament Presidency to include the Popular Mobilization Forces’ service and retirement law on the agenda of Tuesday’s session.
The representative of the Sadiqoon, Zainab Al-Moussawi, called on Monday, the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to include the retirement and jihadist service law for the Popular Mobilization Forces on the agenda of tomorrow’s session, Tuesday, or the upcoming sessions, stressing that the law is ready for voting from a legal and constitutional standpoint.
In a post on the “X” platform, Al-Moussawi stressed the importance of clarifying the reasons for delaying the inclusion of the law, especially in light of the existence of a political agreement to pass it, noting that its approval represents an important step on several levels.
Al-Moussawi stressed that this law is of great importance in establishing the legitimacy and structure of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in addition to enhancing its security capabilities in confronting internal and regional challenges.
