Sheikh Al-Khazali: The memory of the middle of Shaaban represents hope and a promising future for oppressed peoples.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, stressed today (Sunday) the importance of the commemoration of the middle of Sha’ban, describing it as “the most blessed and most important commemoration” for what it carries of meanings of hope and salvation for the oppressed and weak in the world.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in his speech during his attendance at the second conference of the Sadiqoon students held in the holy city of Karbala, that this occasion represents a promising future for all young people aspiring to build their homelands and achieve their aspirations, expressing his hope that the good faces present will be “the gateway to the true preparation for the state of divine justice”.
His Eminence also expressed his great confidence in the students, stressing that they are “the makers of the future of this great oppressed country to which we belong,” expressing his hope that the second student conference of the Sadiqoon will be a real gateway to a new phase of work that is commensurate with the size of the challenges and responsibility”.
His Eminence spoke about the historical status of Iraq, stressing that it is “a great country with a deep history, which founded civilizations that contributed to spreading knowledge to all parts of the world,” indicating that Iraq is “the country with the oldest and most ancient civilization, which established the foundation of knowledge when it invented letters and the wheel,” and was the foundation of mathematics, astronomy, and all other sciences.
Sheikh Al-Khazali concluded his speech by emphasizing that Iraq, with its history, geography and environment, possesses “one common cultural heritage,” which makes it capable of facing challenges and building its future on solid foundations of science and civilization.
