The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, visited His Highness Prince Ma’ad Jassim al-Samarmad, the Emir of the Zubaid tribes in Iraq and the Arab world, in the Al-Suwayrah district of Wasit Governorate.
A statement from Sheikh Khazali’s media office stated that during the meeting, His Eminence emphasized the importance of preserving the unity and sovereignty of Iraqi territory. He also emphasized the need to address the risks facing Iraq’s borders with Syria and Turkey in a way that ensures the country’s security and stability.
His Eminence also praised the significant national role played by the authentic Iraqi tribes, particularly in confronting terrorist groups and responding to the religious authority’s fatwa, in addition to their firm stance in confronting deviant movements within the province. He emphasized that the tribes were, and remain, a fundamental pillar in preserving security and societal peace.
For his part, His Highness Prince Muad Jassim Al-Samarmad expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, appreciating his patriotic stances in defending Iraq and preserving its sovereignty. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between various national parties for the good of the country and its stability.
