Sheikh Khazali: It is in Iraq’s interest to take a step towards the Chinese agreement and open the door for investment

The General Secretary of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq , His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, said today, Sunday, that there is a possibility to implement the Chinese agreement at the required level, with the interests of other countries in Iraq,
His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali said, in an interview with Al-Iraqiya news channel, that “I asked about the issue and said that this case is a formality and a case related to the thousand schools that entered into the Chinese agreement and therefore the money was transferred in the name of China and then given to Iraqi companies for implementation,
His Eminence added, “With regard to the Chinese agreement, in my opinion, the Iraqi state and government must proceed from the reality of its interests in the economic agreements, meaning that Iraq’s interest should come first,
Sheikh Khazali added “I think that it is in Iraq’s interest to take a step towards the Chinese agreement, as well as it is in its interest to intertwine the interests of the major countries and open the doors for investment, because these countries, when they have interests, will push for the stability of the situation in Iraq,”
His Eminence stressed that “Iraq’s wealth is very large, and instead of the prime minister giving contracts worth billions of dollars to some countries in order to support his candidacy for a second term,
His Eminence Sheikh Khazali stressed that “the Chinese agreement must pass without the West feeling that Iraq is moving towards China, Russia and Iran only,” stressing that “the Chinese agreement can be implemented to the required level with the interests of other countries in Iraq,
His Eminence considered that the agreements made by former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stem from personal motives and interests, and therefore now the prime minister and state institutions must have a clear vision and present it,
His Eminence added that “this comes within the economic decision, meaning that the prime minister presents these agreements and says that they are beneficial to Iraq,
His Eminence the Sheikh indicated that “these agreements, some of them may be useful and some are not, and I do not give prejudgments, and we are waiting for the prime minister to evaluate him, especially since the new government is open to all countries and wants balanced relations with them,
His Eminence stressed that “Iraq, the political class and the prime minister in every government formation has no negative motives against any of the Gulf or Arab countries, His Eminence added, “Pressure, sensitivity, and the pre-conceived agenda in those countries and Iraq is always outstretched and open to its Arab surroundings,” stressing that “the current prime minister is open and wants balanced relations that achieve Iraq’s interest with neighboring countries,
Sheikh Khazali added, “Now we have a prime minister whom we trust, and therefore a large part of the decision taken by the alatar will depend on the prime minister’s conviction and evaluation,
His Eminence expressed that, “For me, the origin in the previous government was mistrust, and the original in the current government was good suspicion, stressing that” the basis of the Sudanese government, which was formed by the alatar altansiqi, is open to neighboring countries and wants balanced relations with all neighboring countries, the region and the world, except for what the constitution rejects, which is the Zionist entity.
