The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, responded today (Saturday) to the rumors that have recently spread about his injury, saying: “We give good news to the fans, he is safe and armed,” indicating that his absence from the media scene was only, while he continued to follow the developments and conditions inside the country.
Sheikh Al-Khazali explained during a televised interview that the first period of absence was for purely security reasons, and was followed by other reasons that prompted him to stay away from the media, noting that the rumors that were raised about his injury were an opportunity to reveal the truth about some people who appear to be “experts and analysts,” but in reality they lack any accurate information.
His Eminence added, “The rumors prompted me to delay even more, because there are people who come out and speak on the basis that they have information, and unfortunately some people believe them. So, I considered this absence an opportunity to expose their falsehood in front of everyone”.
His Eminence explained that what happened was a test of public awareness, as events proved that these people do not possess real information, but rather speak out of personal or unprofessional motives and reasons. He stressed the importance of being cautious and not believing these rumors in the future.
Regarding the parties behind the rumors, His Eminence explained that there are multiple motives behind these sayings, saying: “Part of these rumors were motivated by Israel, and another part goes back to people who have personal problems with me or with the general title of the movement, explaining that in the end, there are personal and security dimensions behind these rumors”.
His Eminence pointed out that the source of these rumors began with Israeli parties, suggesting that they had security motives in the timing of their launch.
