Sheikh Al-Khazali: We cannot accept the current reality of Iraq and we must correct it in a way that is consistent with its history and future.

The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais Khazali, stressed that the reality that Iraq is experiencing today does not befit its status and ancient history, stressing the need to work hard to correct this path in a manner consistent with the aspirations of the Iraqi people and the future of the country.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in his speech during his attendance at the second conference of the Sadiqoon students held in the holy city of Karbala, that building a strong state capable of achieving the aspirations of its people is everyone’s responsibility, stressing that the Sadiqoon will be at the forefront of this project, saying: “With the help of God and the efforts of the Sadiqoon, you will begin and complete the building of this state that will be among the advanced countries”.
His Eminence also stressed the importance of the role of students in the renaissance of Iraq, explaining that this segment is the basic pillar in building the future of any country in the world. He added: “Countries that respect themselves care about students and seek to bring them to the highest levels of education so that they can be the builders of the future”.
In the context of his talk about national sovereignty, Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed that Iraq is capable of correcting the course and rising to the ranks of advanced countries, pointing out that there are serious steps being taken in this direction, adding: “The ambition of any person who loves his country is to see his country strong, possessing its sovereignty, and being among the ranks of advanced countries”.
On the other hand, Sheikh Al-Khazali revealed the amount of money allocated by the US Agency for Development inside Iraq, indicating that it amounts to nearly two billion dollars annually, and explaining that its main goal is to influence the thought and culture of Iraqi youth.
