Al-Sadiqoon condemns the Zionist attacks on Iran and calls on Iraq to prevent the use of its airspace as a corridor for enemy aircraft.

The Sadiqoon condemned, on Friday, in the strongest terms, the treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted residential neighborhoods and civilian buildings in cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, resulting in the martyrdom of a number of Iranian leaders and scholars inside their homes and among their families, in a heinous crime that adds to the Israeli occupation’s record of treachery and violations.
In an official statement, the movement affirmed that “the usurping Zionist entity has once again revealed its brutality and ongoing criminality, in flagrant violation of international conventions and norms, by carrying out cowardly assassinations that threaten regional and international security and stability.
The Sadiqoon called on the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly to take the necessary action against these blatant violations that threaten civil peace and push the region and the world toward an all-out war whose devastating repercussions are unstoppable.
The movement also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to “the steadfast and struggling Iranian leadership, government, and people, and to the families of the righteous martyrs,” affirming its confidence in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ability to overcome this challenge and confront the scheme that the criminal Netanyahu government seeks to impose in the region.
In the same context, the movement called on the Iraqi government to “assume its national responsibilities in protecting Iraqi airspace and preventing its use as a corridor for Zionist enemy aircraft, as occurred at dawn today.” It stressed the “need to expedite the preparation of air defense systems capable of deterring these violations, and to take the necessary legal and diplomatic measures against the Zionist entity to prevent the recurrence of such attacks.
The movement concluded its statement by praying for mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs, and for damnation and torment for the criminal killers, saying, “To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
